Valley Fire Protection repeat winner of IREM’s vendor of the year award
Batavia, IL March 15, 2010
— The Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) presented Valley Fire Protection Systems with its prestigious Vendor of the Year Award during its March 12 PREMIER Awards at Chicago’s Sheraton Hotel. This marks the second consecutive year that Valley has received the award, which recognizes a company that has been exceptionally proactive in providing a quality product or service to the property management industry.
“It is an absolute honor to be recognized once more by IREM,” said Valley Fire Protection Systems President Tom Hartel. “All of us at Valley strive to do the highest quality work for our customers, and it gives me a wonderful feeling of pride to accept this award for all of the team.”
Valley’s services help to protect people and property from fires through the design, installation, maintenance, testing and inspection of wet and dry sprinkler systems and their ancillary components. The company works on projects throughout the Greater Chicago metropolitan area and beyond, having performed projects in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and Texas.
“Our people make Valley the outstanding company that it is,” Hartel added. “We strive to become better and better each day by deepening our workforce’s education and understanding around the latest fire protection technologies. We also work with fire departments in the area to let them know how our products can help them in their efforts.”
In addition, Valley endeavors to educate all property managers, builders and other stakeholders on topics related to fire safety systems through a variety of channels. Valley representatives regularly present at and participate in trade shows and other events, and the company publishes educational white papers and a quarterly newsletter.
Companies being considered for the Vendor of the Year Award criteria must also demonstrate active community service and participation. Valley Fire Protection invests time and financial support to assist a number of local organizations, including CASA Kane County, Misericordia and Glenwood Home.
